Kristin Ross is a partner with Rousseau & Ross, PLLC. She focuses her practice on guiding clients through insurance claims and all stages of litigation. She represents injured individuals in Vermont and New Hampshire in product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage disputes. She has experience and success in trial as well as all stages of litigation including depositions of witnesses and experts, motion practice, and conducting mediations. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Vermont, as well as New Hampshire’s and Vermont’s federal courts.

Kristin has had enormous success negotiating large, confidential settlements for her clients. She was also a critical member of the appellate team in Dzemila Heco v. Johnson Controls, Inc., playing an important role in the Vermont Supreme Court brief and appeal for the firm’s client who received a 43-million-dollar verdict in a product’s liability case.

Kristin earned her Juris Doctor at Vermont Law School in 2009. While at Vermont Law School, Kristin served on the Moot Court Advisory Board based on her advocacy skills. Kristin was awarded Academic Achievement Awards in 2007 and 2008 and also received the Dean’s Fellowship Scholarship for academic success from 2007 through 2009. Kristin graduated in the top 10% of her law school class.

Kristin has been very involved in national and statewide professional associations of trial attorneys working to make sure people have a fair chance to receive justice through the legal system. She is currently serving as the President of the New Hampshire Association for Justice (NHAJ) and has previously served as the organization’s secretary, treasurer, and president-elect as well as chair of the Membership Committee. Kristin also serves on the board of the Vermont Association for Justice (VTJA). She is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association. Kristin has served on the Grafton County Bar Association’s executive committee since 2011 as Secretary, Vice President, and President.

In 2018, Kristin was elected to become a member of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellows, an honorary organization of attorneys and judges who have been elected by their peers because they demonstrated outstanding achievement in the legal profession and unwavering dedication to serving the public, particularly in supporting equal access to justice and the improvement of our justice system.

Kristin has been praised by her clients for her compassion, empathy, dedication, and her results.

The attorneys at Rousseau & Ross recognize that each product liability case is intricate and unique, and they are committed to assessing, planning, and executing a legal strategy aimed at securing the compensation clients need to move forward.

Rousseau & Ross’s product liability team, serving New Hampshire and Vermont, has extensive experience representing clients across all four primary categories of product liability:

  • Negligence
  • Strict Liability
  • Breach of Warranty
  • Misrepresentation

When manufacturers or sellers make false claims about a product’s safety or fail to uphold guarantees or warranties, the firm’s attorneys have the knowledge and courtroom experience required to prove such breaches.

Given the complexity of defective product cases, product liability claims can be challenging to substantiate. Manufacturers and other responsible parties often take aggressive steps to discredit these claims in order to avoid exposure to significant liability. Rousseau & Ross is equipped to confront these tactics and advocate forcefully on behalf of injured consumers.

Rousseau & Ross, PLLC is a leading civil-litigation and personal-injury law firm based in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The firm serves clients in New Hampshire and Vermont, providing individualized legal representation for people who have suffered injury or other harm due to negligence.

The firm handles a broad range of personal injury and civil-litigation matters, including vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall / premises liability, serious injuries or death, product liability, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, and animal-related injuries. Rousseau & Ross emphasizes a personalized, detail-oriented approach: rather than using a one-size-fits-all strategy, the firm commits to carefully reviewing the specific facts, circumstances, and evidence of each case to maximize compensation and ensure the client’s needs — especially medical care — are met.

Over the years, Rousseau & Ross has built a reputation as a tenacious advocate for injured clients. The firm highlights its track record of securing significant verdicts and settlements for victims wronged by negligence. Clients and peer reviews commonly commend the firm for professionalism, compassion, clear communication, and dedication to treating clients like individuals rather than just case numbers.
